HP Pavilion and Fujitsu Lifebook, both XP, connected
wirelessly to D-Link router (broadband). I'd like to set
up file/printer sharing, but want each PC to connect to
the Internet on its own (not thru each other). Ran the
wizard using "Connects through residential gateway", per
a previous post. Result: Each PC was visible
in "workgroup computers" on the other, but if I clicked
on one, got the message "Server not found". Shared
printer on the Pavilion was not visible on the laptop,
and shared folders on both PCs are not visible on the
other. The laptop could access the Internet, but after
running the Wizard, the Pavilion could not. Only when I
removed the wireless connection from the bridge, could I
get online again. What have I done wrong? Just want a
simple setup, but am VERY confused now. I don't even
know how to 'remove' a network to run the wizard again.
Any help is MUCH appreciated!
