Windows Defender keeps alerting me that the application "Bash Logo.exe" is
trying to access Internet Explorer. What is this file and do I require it or
should I just delete it? My pc is slowing down since this file appeared.

It's hard to give advice about a file with only the name. Names change, and
there's no guaranteed connection between a given name and the content of the
file.

I'd do this. If you can find this file on your system submit it to:

www.virustotal.com

Use the submit and browse buttons in the top right of the screen. Get it
analyzed there by a good number of the top antivirus vendors, and see
whether it is identified as a virus or spyware by any of them.

If it is, write down several vendors and the name they give to this critter,
and see what needs to be done to remove it.

Hello Docker,

Whatever you do, (installing and updateting or unistalling) always as a
administrator.

If this application is running on your computer, it is advised that you scan
your computer for both viruses and spyware/adware immediately.

Run Ccleaner, install the slim version.
http://www.ccleaner.com/downloadbuilds.asp
Note, uncheck Yahoos toolbar during install.
Open Ccleaner and press "Windows" "Aplications" and "Run Cleaner" from the
menu choose 'Issues' and then press scan for issues, Repair any fºund.

Open Add/Remove programs and delete any program that you don't recognize.

If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any
BHO's that you don't recºgnize.

Run Ewido

Run Safety live
http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/default.htm
Look for the broom Clean up, also Tune Up..

And if the above fail,
This is a AndyM (e-mail address removed)
or Ron Kinner case.
Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe
http://computercops.biz/HijackThis.html

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select Scan and Save Log.
Note where you saved the log then send it to him as an attachment. Put
Hijack in the subject so he'll know it's not spªm.

Alternatively you can post it on the Dell Forum ªt:

http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=si_hijack

(if it wraps you can go tº:

http://tinyurl.com/ckuzq instead.)

Put Ron in the subject so he will see it. You do not need to have a Dell to
post but you will need to register.
