Hi all!

I just wanted to let you know that the old address hosted on CHERUBIJNTJE.ORG is
no longer in use (for quite some time now). I do keep seeing old links, so I
thought I'll post a message on here.

The new address to download any of my software is located here:
http://www.bartware.com/index.php?action=download

Also, I've heard some people say that some of my freeware contains spyware. I
can assure you it doesn't.

Sorry for not notifying you of the server move earlier!

Thanks,

Bart

Hmm, that's odd..
They do work here!

Can you try again?

If it doesn't work, can you access both of these sites?

Also, can anyone else try...?
Maybe its a local problem, or maybe a problem with my server...

Which ISP are you using?

Thanks!

Bart

Your link to the Messenger program leads here...
http://www.bart-ware.net/files/bwmsetup.exe
I receive a page which states the page cannot be displayed.

Link to Tiny Webserver leads here...
http://www.bart-ware.net/files/bwtwsetup.exe
I receive the same page stating it cannot be displayed.

Link to Firewall leads here...
http://www.bart-ware.net/fw2/
I receive the same results.

A right-click->save target as gives a resulting error window stating the
site cannot be found. I'm using InterGate...(trip.net).

I don't know what the problem is...I tried a straight download, didn't work.
I tried the right-click->save target as, didn't work either. I haven't had
any problems with any other downloads such as planet-source-code or
sourceforge, etc.

I just tried the download link for the XP firewall, and it worked fine.

Well, I'm glad everyone else can get the downloads. I've visited the site 3
times today and couldn't get the downloads any of the three times. I give
up.

Maybe the server is blocking a certain ISP.

I've already stated I'm using InterGate. I don't believe that's the
problem. I attempted to download it from a different post in a.c.f. with a
link to a different site. It wouldn't give it up from there either. Maybe
my ISP is blocking your company?

Glad to hear that!

I'm not familiar with any of these purported freeware programs.
Has anyone used Bart's Firewall program?
Not a very big program is it?
How does it compare to the other more famous software firewalls like
Kerio's (v2.15), Sygate's, & Outpost's freebies?
Does it work?
If not, where does it fail?
Any comments would be welcomed.

I tried it on an underpowered 98SE
machine and it fell over at once and got
uninstalled.

i suspected that might be the case but was hoping it might be a sleeper
goody!
Thanks for trying it on (jo).
