Search your hd for a file named HOSTS (no extension, and may be hidden). Open
with Windows Notepad, and append entries (one per line) with the full domain
name of the site you wish to block (less any leading or trailing slashes or
paths), in the following format:

127.0.0.1 chat.yahoo.com

The above example will route ANY connection attempts for that hostname to
your own computer, thus effectively blocking it. Note that there is a single
space or tab between the numeric address and the hostname. This will have NO
effect on other connection attempts to that domain (e.g., www.yahoo.com).

Please note that the first line of a host file must be
127.0.0.1 localhost

I use this file to block may unwanted site and images.

You can add to it with notepad.
