barcoding of field contents

I'd like to create reports that contain barcode equivalents of field data.
Does Access provide this functionality? Help did not suggest so.

Not directly, but you can purchase a barcode Font. Most barcode scanners have
their own fonts provided. Just use that font in the Font property of the
textbox.

There are lots of free bar code fonts available. Also some fonts
required check digits or special characters such as *s on both ends of
the characters.
