Barcode scanner advances form to next form upon scan

I have a form and when the user places the cursor in the "IPID" text box and
scans the code, for some reason, the form advances to the next record after
putting the information in the box.

If I go to another field such has "notes" and scan the same bar code, the
information will appear in the notes box as it is supposed to and the record
does not change.

Most scanners are set up to automatically send either a <Tab> or an <Enter>
after the scanned "word" is sent to the PC. If you are on the last control
in the tab order and you have the tab cycle set to "All Records" then
scanning will input the word and then the <Tab> or <Enter> will take you to
the next record.
