Hi,

I am creating a line-bar chart with 2 axis in excel 2000
for 10 countries.
X axis is countries
Primary axis is % with actual value showing as bar and
target as line.
Secondary axis is number- actual value showing as bar and
line as target.
My problem is that the bars overlap each other. I want
them side by side.

I have assigned the primary and secondary axis properly.

Is there a way to resolve this?

Pls help

Hi Satya,

This can be solved using two dummy series:

1. Add two more columns to the right with the % and number data.
2. Create a stacked chart with all four series
3. Set the axis of the 2nd and 4th series (numbers) to secondary
4. Right click on series 2 and series 3 and make them invisible b
setting Patterns = None
