Bars in chart are too narrow after inserting data.
How do I increase the width of the bars in the chart?

Right-click one of the data series, choose Format/Data Series, and go to
the Options tab there. Change the gap width and overlap to suit.
 
Helped, but not nearly enough. Really need it to look
like the bar graph that initially displays when you click
insert chart.
 
Well, if you click Insert/Chart, activate that chart and just change the
data, the chart formatting won't change. I don't know what you've done
to get your chart far enough out of whack that it no longer looks like
that initial chart, but it may be easiest to just start over.
