Hi.. I'm looking for a bar chart that has its Data Labels above its
value?

Looks something like this:-

red <-- data value
| | <-- bar

green
| | 30%

Is there an add-on? i'm writing a program to open powerpoint and draw
the graph

Please help.. :(

Hi,

data labels is an option in Excel and in PowerPoint's chart options as well.
Go to format data series| Data labels tab| and the Label Contains Value tick
box.

I did that and played around with Format Data Labels| Label Positions
but all the options they have doesn't allow me to put Data Value ABOVE
the bar :(

i'm using Powerpoint 2003, XP Pro

Hi,

You can click on each individual label and drag them to where you want them.

Hi,

If you use a clustered bar chart with an additional series, using the
same values, you could use the second series to display it's data label
at the InsideBase position. Format the series to have no fill pattern or
border.

Cheers
Andy
