Apparently the latest round of back-and-forths with our resident troll
(and you all know who I mean) have annoyed the normally silent members
of the community to speak up and complain. Also apparently, my latest
efforts have made me just as bad in their eyes as he is, because I just
plain don't know when to quit.

Therefore, I will henceforth sever all diplomatic relations with said
troll, until further notice. I will not reply to his rantings, nor will
I bait him into making them - beyond those that this thread invoke. He,
of course, will assume he has won the battle, that I now agree with him
and admit the "truths" he espouses concerning me. Know that I am NOT
doing that. I am merely calling a cease-fire before I'm run out of here
on a rail.

After letting go and killfiling Measekite a year ago I felt considerable
relief and tranquility reading this newsgroup. Since then I've still read
considerable posts from folks who continue to refer to his rantings,
misinformation, and nonsense. I keep wondering how long it takes before
people realize that it's rare to change someone, that life is short, and
when you know the label of a person to be a nutcake that it's better to move
on than to be pulled in by the garbage the guy is spewing. Maybe those
posters who keep responding to him really get a thrill out of taunting him.
Or maybe they just think by telling him off they think they're better or
they will actually change him. Regardless of that I'm glad the printers
newsgroup is still a viable resource for information and most of its users
have moved on beyond his insanity.

If you absolutely can't keep quiet or use a killfile, your time would
be better spent sending trolling complaints to his ISP rather than
adding to the continued threads that are creating more spam than the
original posts.

"Never argue with an idiot - After a while, people won't be able to tell the
difference."
