When I add a banner to my page it populates the banner with the name of the
page. How do I edit what shows up in the bannar as the name?

For what it's worth, I spent more than a couple of hours on this same
problem last night (including using the "F1" key!) and was appalled at how
difficult it was to insert a graphic at the top of every page using the
"Insert" "Page Banner" command - without the page name - page2.htm - showing
in the center of the graphic!

It doesn't surprise me that no-one has answered your plea as of yet.

It seems to me, that if the page banner reflects the name of the page, the
logical thing is to change the name of the page.

I believe that if you change it in "Navigation view" it should show the
exact text you used

The Banner is a navigation component, is based on title of your pages in navigation view.

If you want to insert image as a banner on every page, remove the banner component from the top
shared border and then insert your image.

I know to change the name in Navigation view, but I thought you had to leave
the name of the home page alone.

How do you edit the name in the banner? Not just change the name but the
font, or positin?

You would have to modify the theme. The name in the banner is based on the title of your pages in
navigation view.

Lee,
You should not change the "-----.htm" name of the page. just change the
label in Navigation view.

i think maybe that the problem is inserting a graphic as the banner with no
verbage at all.....

therefore, whatever you name the page that text appears over the top of the
graphic.

maybe!
