banner in 6.2

It *is* necessary for me. I already left official ICQ in favour of Miranda
because of annoying ads. Unfortunately, niether Microsoft nor Mirabilis gave
us chance to customize its own programs. I'm afraid that the next
Microsoft's step will be inserting banners in chat windows and so on like in
ICQ.

Could you tell me, Jonathan, what MSG+ exactly is? Is it some kinda patch or
plugin? I don't like crack programs, but from another point of view isn't
this MSG+ too fat to make simple things? After uninstalling it i noticed the
banner again.

P.S. I would like to have all the functionality of 6.2 with all the
appearance of 4.7 :-)

Greetings Pavel,

http://www.msgplus.net allows you to remove this if you really think it's
necessary.

Hi Pavel,

Not exactly a "crack" per se, as the adjustments to Messenger are made in memory, not to the
executable. If you really want a non-cracked Messenger client with no ads, I'd suggest using
Windows Messenger instead.
