I have a problem with Outlook 2002. Microsoft (in their wisdom) decided to
ban any email attachments with extensions such as exe, vbs etcetera. I find
this really inconvenient, but have learnt to live with it.

However, I now find myself in the predicament that I need to access a file
which was sent to me as an attachment before I upgraded to 2002. Outlook
won't let me. I cannot even save the attachment and access it outside
Outlook.

Help! How can I disable this feature in OUtlook?

Thanks

Richard

See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm for ways to get the
attachments off.

For more information on the security features, see

If you use OE, hit forward on a message or disable it in tools | options |
security.
