Hello,

I'm looking for a bandwidth monitor.

I found, after a Gogle groups search, a link to BMExtreme in this group.
This software appears ot be off topic for this group. ("This shareware
version will work for 21 days, at whichpoint in time bandwidth will no
longer be monitored. To purchase..."etc) I could not find any mention of
a free version on their website.

Some features I'd like:

1) Stats for sent and received, for this sessions, today, this
week and this month.

2) Details of speed in and out

3) Connected IPs. (Bonus if the program connecting to that IP is listed)

Very many thanks.

This one can I think, <http://www.trafficstatistic.com/> Have tried
it, but some time ago now. Worked fine as far as I can remember.
Rather large download (4441Kb) and install though.

Check also this page which lists many programs previously mentioned in
this group
<http://www.pricelessware.org/2004/programs/P_INTERNET.php?sortby=subcat>
when sorted by subcat - as this link should do, scroll down to the
"8.11 DUN - Connection Speed" subcategory and have a look at (follow
links to) the programs listed there.

You can also search this group to see what people have said about the
various such programs before, for example:
<http://www.google.com/groups?hl=en&q=meter&meta=group=alt.comp.freeware.*&scoring=d>

All the best,
Bjorn Simonsen

I have been using BMEtreme for ages. The freeware version works great.
