Assuming the cartridges still have adequate ink in them (are they
refills or 3rd party or original HP brand), it is possible the head has
some clogged nozzles, or even the contacts with the printer are
compromised. I would suggest removing the cartridge and cleaning the
contacts to the printer carefully with isopropyl alcohol to make sure
they are clean, and then reinstall.
If that is unhelpful, you may need to remove the cartridge and using a
clean paper towel, fold in quarters and dampen with warm water, and sit
the cartridge (head unit down on toweling). Allow it to sit for 10-20
minutes, yo may need to gently press on the cartridge downward toward
the damp paper towel and let go, and repeat a few times to get the clogs
wet and removed.
Then reinsert cartridge and retry.
