Hello,
The problem that I have now may not be directly linked to this forum but as it has got something to do with Win2K Server, I decided to ask my question here.
We are using currently at my company a Backup Exec Server v9.0 on a Win2K Member Server of a domain A. I am trying to backup remotely a DC of the same Domain A. Actually I am trying to backup the C:\ and D:\ drives of this DC.
MOst of the time I manage to backup only 1 of the 2 drives getting the following error:
"Final error code: a000848c HEX
Final error description: Unable to attach to one of the drives."
MOst of the time I manage to backup 1 of the 2 drives.
For example, if I decide to backup C:\ first and then D:\, I manage to backup C:\ and then cannot backup D:\ because I get the previous error.
And if I decide to backup first D:\ and then C:\ I manage to backup D:\ but not C:\.
So I guess this is not a credential problem!
Between the 2 servers there is no firewall either...
Could someone help me find out what's happening?
The problem doesn't come up when I backup other servers remotely!
Hope someone will have some advices that could help me ...
Thanks in advance!
Julien.
