.bak question

excuse my ignorance on this one.
Do I need to keep the .bak file that the Security Wizard
creates? The reason is my mdb is half a gig and then of
course so is the .bak file.
Other than informing me of the process of creating
the .bak file, I see nothing else in the Access Security
FAQ that explains this piece.
Please educate. thank you.
 
I'd keep it for a while, if for no other reason than to make sure that no
errors occur. Make SURE you have a copy of your unsecured database on hand,
though ...

a half-gig database ... good lord what have you got in there :)
