Please can someone tell me how to shut down a windows 2000
PC. Also how do you read floppy disks, i press the eject
button and the tray poped out so i put the floppy disk on
the tray and pushed it back in but it keeps getting stuck.

You should probably check at your local library about taking a "Computer
Basics" class. You will enjoy using your PC a lot more after you learn a
bit about it.

It sounds as if you are attempting to place the floppy disk in the CDROM drive. The floppy should go in the floppy drive. The
floppy drive doesn't not have a tray. Rather it has a slot(approx 3.5 inches long) that the disk is incerted into. As for shutting
down Windows 2000, click Start>Shutdown and choose Shutdown from the drop down list.

Thank you,
