Bad Websites keep appearing in my favorites

I think I someone got onto my machine and now everytime I
get onto Internet Explorer - it has these nasty websites
in my favorites and deleting them has not helped.I have
run the Virus scan. downloaded softare from Lavasoft -
and they have found things and deleted them but the
problem still exists. What else can I do?
