I get a message that my Cyan printhead is bad, I have
purchased and changed out cartridges, what else can I do?

Er, I'm no expert, but change the cyan printhead? It has nothing whatsoever
to do with the cartridge (OK, so on some units it has, but this is obviously
not one of those)...

Canon printers have one printhead that contains several different
cartridges. Depending on your model printer, the printhead can hold 2, 4 or
6 cartridges. If the printer is still under guarantee, Canon will replace
the printhead free of charge.

If it is an older model, you need to purchase a new printhead. It is a
separate unit from the cartridges. You do not tell us which model Canon
printer you have so I cannot tell you which printhead you need to purchase.

OK, your crystal ball's obviously working better than mine. How do you know
it's a Canon? AFAIK, they aren't the only manufacturer with a separate
printhead...are they?
