Came in here yesterday for help and the success rate of comments that were
helpful is not good at all. ( WOW ) Then I posted a comment for help and got
NO response back so far, this is not good, I can get better help from a
homeless person walking on the street.

LOL - did you ask "How do I get a stuck email out of my Inbox,
and insure that I will never have another email stuck in same?"

Seriously, did not see your earlier post under same name.

Karen, posts are answered on public newsgroups like this one by 'volunteers'
it is not a direct link to Microsoft. You have to take into consideration
time zones and also whether anyone knows the answer to your problem. Even
the MVPs that help out in these newsgroups are not employed by Microsoft. In
many cases they also have full time jobs and help out on the newsgroups as
and when they can. You simply need a little patience, you can't expect to
post a question and get an immediate reply.

As for 'the success rate of comments that were helpful' again the people
that respond to questions on the newsgroups can only go on what the original
poster describes. If the original poster does not include enough information
anyone, me included, can only guess what the problem might be and suggest a
suitable remedy. The more information you can supply the better the chance
of getting a successful solution.

Your previous message was apparently posted
as a reply to an existing thread. It's always best
to begin your own thread when you have a question.

Maybe the following links will offer some ideas:

This is a user based newsgroup, you're not guaranteed to get help although
many people spend their spare time helping others out for free.

So, how long have you been spending your spare time helping others on
newsgroups?

Drop dead you silly bitch.

Karen: I feel ya. I am hating Vista right now and want to uninstall and go
back to what I had. I can't get help with anything. My mailbox isn't
compatible with Vista and now I'm not receiving my emails. And...I can't get
anyhelp. It takes too many steps to get to the point of just asking for
help. Log on, product id # and after 90 days there'll be a charge for
support. What's that about? I'm about to give up.

If you have a defeatist attitude like that, your expectations will probably come true.
There is plenty of help available here, all free.

If you have web based mail that uses HTML such as Hotmail then you will have
a problem with Windows Mail. However, if you are using standard POP/SMTP
then you are obviously doing something wrong.

It is certainly easier to ask for help here than to go through Microsoft
technical support which, from your post, it appears is the route you have
taken.
