Bad Autocomplete name

Is there any way to clear a single entry form Outlook's autocomplete list.
I have a user running Outlook 2002 who sent mail to another user with a typo
(since corrected) in the display name. Now when the first user begins
typing the second user's name he gets the original erroneous entry. Any
suggestions?

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:

A gloss on Russ' method: It only works if there are at least two e-mail addresses with the same initial three characters. Absent this, you must first create a second address (by entering that address in the To field of a new message and clicking Send). This is no problem if the correct address has the same first three characters, eg the incorrect address is abcant@.... and the correct address is abcanter@.... If not - eg the correct address is abkant@... - create a fictitous address such as (e-mail address removed). You will be left with this fictitious address after deleting the original incorrect address but at least it is obvious that it is fictitious. There is also a downloadable program - Owtlook AutoComplete File Editor 1.0 - available at $14.95 (free to try) to edit the NK2 file where the AutoComplete addresses are stored. I haven't tried it
