Well they do say that with the world population growing as quickly as it is, we may need to turn to insects as a food source in the future...!! :D

I'd try the cricket but pass on the scorpion.

They say shrimps and prawns are sea insects, I wonder if that's true?

I've always found it surprising how folk can eat cockles, whelks and winkles as well, I mean, they all look quite disgusting don't they?

I completely agree with you floppy.I don`t think I would eat them if they were the last food on Earth-------I think!

Yes, one of the closest relatives of shrimps and prawns are woodlice.

It seems, however, that woodlice are not insects but a type of crustacean. :eek:

Woodlouse fried rice sounds good to me. :D
