Windows Vista Backwards compatability

I have Outlook 2000 and want to be able to receive meeting requests from people with Outlook 2007. At the moment, they appear as text files in my email. I can, however, send meeting requests which work.

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

PS. Think I am in the wrong forum as I have Windows XP, though senders have Windows Vista.

I'm not entirely sure but I think the only answer to your problem is for you to use Outlook 2007.

In fact you're lucky to even see them as text files as Microsoft rarely include any backwards compatibility in an attempt to wring as much cash from you as possible.
