I have Powerpoint 2003. I will be creating a presentation
for a client who has powerpoint 2000. Will they be able
to view and edit the presentation with their version of
Powerpoint? What major (if any) inconveniences will there
be due to the fact we have different versions?

Thank you.

Kathi

Yes, they will be able to view and edit your presentation provided you do
not use any of the new animations. They can still view and edit it, but the
animations won't work. You can either make sure you don't use the new
animations or you can click "Tools", "Options", click the "Edit" TAB and
uncheck the Disable... "new animation effects" feature at the bottom.

Before you create your presentation, click on Tools | Options | Edit | checkmark
the items under "Disable new features" and you should be good to go.
