Backups to DVD

Hello:

A simple question that I can't seem to find an answer for:

When using BACKUP under Windows XP Pro to backup data to
DVD's, does XP support spanned volumes?

The Backup program in XP doesn't support CD/DVD drives full stop.You have to
backup to a HDD and buen to CD/DVD later.

I assume you are talking about "ntbackup.exe" which is the
backup program included in XP/pro and on the extras CD on XP/home.

Yes. This program will write to tape or a HD.
 
The answer is NO. NT Backup does not support disk
spanning. You need a third party software for this. Keep
smiling.
