Backups [Scheduled]

1) Is/must the password used in setting up a backup schedule (Backup
Wizard -Advanced) the same as the user logon password?
2) Is a password mandatory?

Since the original post I've discovered that the requirement is not
mandatory.
I'm not at the original machine with XP right now but via Control Panel's
Admin Tools you can set Security Options in Local Security Policies to
disable this i.e.
*limit use of blank passwords to logon only *
[not verbatim but something along these lines] must be disabled .
