Alan R.

Greetings folks. FWIW, this message board has been my
saviour and thanks to all that check here regularly. My
problem is rather simple and I'm sure I'm just having a
brain freeze moment, however, I installed a 2nd hard
drive (80gb) and wanted to back up my original "C" drive
to it and keep it updated regularly. However, I can't
seem to find the backup utility on XP. Any help would be
appreciated.

Thanks!

Alan R.

Insert the WixXP Home disc into your computer. Click Exit if WinXP presents
you with a blue installation screen. Click the Start button, Run and
Browse. Choose your CD drive and find your CD Drives"s \VALUE
ADD\MSF\NTBACKUP folder. In the Files of Type dropdown list, select All
Files. Double-cock the Ntbackup.msi file and clock OP Click the Finish
button when the installation is completed. You should now fine the Backup
utility on your Start menu by clicking Start, All Programs, accessories,
System Tools and Backup

I want to say that both of you fellers rock. It's up and
running and re-installed. Amazing how Microsoft forgot
that little thing. LOL

Thanks and have a great new year.
