In W2000; is there a way to set up a daily file back up
so that the system would back up any file created or
modified within the past 24hrs; and copy them to an
external HD??

RoboCopy from the NT Resource can be setup to do this.

We use ntbackup. It has several types of backups. We

use Normal on Sundays which saves everything (in specific
dirs)and then Differential Mon - Sat which saves only
those files modified since the last normal boot.
