backup utility

Could someone tell me how to instal the Backup utility in
my pre-installed windows xp home edition PC? I do not
have the windows xp CD.

The seller didn't provide you with a restore CD? You can look on your
system to see if you can find anything like ntbackup* (be sure to
designate advanced options in Search). There is also System Restore -
start\ programs\ accessories\ system tools.

In any event it is advisable to have an additional backup. Frequently
recommended here is erunt.zip, a 575K freeware utility.
