In Windows XP Home I do not have the back up utility. I
need to edit the registry to get rid of a virus but want
to back it up first. The Microsoft site tells to install
the backup utility from CD but I don't have a windows cd
for either of my two computers that have WindowsXP Home
on them. So how do I go about getting this utility? I
could not find anything else on the Microsoft site about
this topic or a place to download this. I have installed
all recommended updates to Windows. This is very
frustrating and I don't think I'll buy another computer
unless I get restore CD's separate from the machine!

in the valueadd folder. in this folder, there is a
installation file for the backup utility.
