I would like to be able to setup a backup on windows vista to a usb
flash drive. I know it says in the help that you cant but I wondered
if anyone has managed to do a workaround?

Thanks in Advance

Simply use a dedicated third party Backup or Imageing application - you'll
be thankfull in the end

I wouldn't trust my only data backup to a flash drive.

I would highly recommend you purchase or assemble an external USB drive
(or two) and make your backups to them. And only plug them in when
you're going to backup, and remove them after the backup.

Sure you'll spend a couple hundred (for two), but isn't your data worth
that much?

But if you're going to continue using a flash drive, you could use
Robocopy and create a simple batch file:
