Alright folks. I thought I might ask this group what the opinions are out
there on backing up workstations on a small network in an organized fashion
and non-complicated manner.

There are a lot of products out there, so I am just wondering what the
opinions are out there.

first the best is to burn cds or dvds of your infomation. also zip disks are good. Next is to get a slave hard drive but the probolem is sometimes hard drives fail. Another helpful and is abusoluly the best is an external hard drive

So basically, have a folder that you save everything to, categorized to your
needs, etc., burn to disk once a week. Put that together with dropping
files into backup folders on other network computers, take the disks off
site if a business and store them in a safe place.

I see all of this software out there and it still seems that the obvious is
also the easiest.

Comments?
