I frequently backup my data to CD roms. I often store them at
work, away from my home computer. I would like to keep my backup data
strong encrypted on the CD. Is there a backup program that supports
strong encryption?
Currently, I use pkzip 5.0 and a batch file to do my backups since it
zips with strong encryption. Thanks

Retrospect Professional 6.5 has DES encryption as a backup option. I
don't know if that is still considered "strong."

If you're creating a single .zip file to have backed up you can gpg
encrypt that .zip file. GPG works on all OSs.

Hate to tell you but pkzip encryption is not very strong.
