Backup Question

I recently purchased a 1GB thumb drive to back up my files and settings. I
never thought I would need any more than that, but apparently I have already
exceeded capacity. The backup wizard says that the backup of files and
settings includes the MyDocs folder, Favorites, desktop, and cookies. I have
figured out that MyDocs has 772.56 MB, and I will delete or transfer to CD
what I can, but I am curious to know how I can find out how much space
Favorites, desktop, and cookies are taking up individually.

The Favorites, your desktop folder and cookies take up a negligable amount
of space, unless you store lots of files on your desktop (which you
shouldn't).

Go to "my computer - local disk - documents and settings - both all users
and your user id. The three folders are in there and the size can be
checked.
