Backup program

My friend needs to have an automated backup for important documents,
email (Pegasus) and other files. His solution would need to be one where
it is something he doesn't have to do manually.
Also...having a feature that would remind him, say once a month or so to
copy that backup to CD-R would be helpful.
Any recommendations please?
(OS is WinXP)

I use EZBack-it-up. It backs up me email (My pegasus files) and as well as
Client files across our network every night when I have gone to bed...

As for the reminder Use Windows schedular or something like that...

Write a note or text file in Windows notepad save the file to tyhe Windows
Directory and have schedular open that file once a month...
