backup problems

I am having a heck of a time trying to find the backup
program on xp..mine for some reason doesn't have one and
can't seem to find it on download page from
microsoft..any ideas? Can someone "cookbook" this for me?
Looking for simple, quick way to backup all my home info
from my laptop Thanks !!!

If it's not there follow the directions in Doug's links.
