Hi,
I am currently use a non-English version of OS. I made a backup of IE
favorites (Use "export" function). Can it be imported to *English* version
of IE ( with multilingual user interface pack) favorites and work well?

I prefer to copy the folder Favorites, any time I reinstall the SO I move the
folder from the original Documments And Settins profile to a separate folder,
I do this with all important folders and files like outlook and My documents,
but If you want to save all configurations without care with details you can
copy the profile folder and restore it after reinstall the system, using the
system configurations\advanced\user profiles.

Thank you Sandi,
But there was someone here told me that
If I make a backup of English version of Windows, it can'tbe applyed to a
Duth version of Windows.
If I make a backup of Duth version of Windows, it can't be applyed to an
English version of Windows, either.
The backup of IE favorites I made is from *non*-English version of OS.
Are you sure it can be applyed to an English version of OS, if I may ask?

Hi CC

Yes, the file will import without problem.

All favorites are, is a list of URLs. URLs are URLs are URLS.
www.microsoft.com is the same in French, English and Swahili AFAIK,
therefore the language of the *OS* doesn't matter.
