Why would you do a backup of files vs complete backup?

It seemed quicker to a complete backup than a regular one.

The Complete can be automated through a scheduled task, so why do a regular
backup?

People may backup personal files twice daily but perform a complete backup
only once a week.

Do as you please.

The same reason why you might chose Cholera over Plague: you have a
choice over how you will lose your data.

Both tools are really poorly designed up to the point to be unusable in
all but the most trivial scenarii. You might as well spare you the
trouble and skip backups alltogether (or use a real backup program).
