I am running SBS 2000 with active directory. I have been using the default
adminstrator account to run a few scheduled tasks, mainly to download virus
definitions and to run backups. Whenever I change the admin password I have
to remember to change it on these tasks.

To avaoid this I created 2 new user accounts, gave them admin rights and
asigned tham to the tasks. the tasks now fail. What do I have to do to
enable these tasks to work under these user accounts?

Thanks

Richard

Can anyone please help me with this problem?

What type of backup? You can set Backup Exec to system instead of an
account and it seems to woork ok.

I am using NTBackup to do full backups and exchange aware backups. I also
need to use an account for downloading Anti Virus Definitions
