Backup and restore sam database

I have ftp and iis running on a Windows 2000 server
machine. I have about 100 ftp users who logs in to the ftp
server for downloads. I am having some problems with this
server and i need to reinstall this server but i don't
want to recreate all those user accounts. Is there a way
to backup and restore the user accounts on this stand
alone ftp server?

You could try this:

Import/export NT user accounts:
ADDUSERS.EXE from the Win2000 Resource Kit
