backing up playlists

I need to re-install windows and i want to back up my
playlists from windows media player.

I cant seem to find the actual location of the playlists
anywhere

Your playlist are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My
Documents\My Music\My Playlists by default for Windows Media Player 9.
