Backing up outlook accounts

Is there anyway to backup outlook account information, including the account
password to a file or exporting.

I would like to do this before reformatting a computer so that i don't have
to keep re entering the account information , and most times people don't
know there account password.

I know that it can be done in outlook express quite easily but not outlook.

Not natively, there are third party tools that can do this
