I have Outlook 2000 Windows 2000

My BackUp is based on putting my personal files in MyDocuments folder,
which I backup regularly

How can I point Ourlook 2000 to MyDocuments folder to store my personal
User files.
My plan is to use Outlook only for Calendar and Tasks applications

Thank you.

Just move the pst file there. When you next open Outlook, it will complain
it can't find the file. Just navigate to the new location.

Thank you very much for your response.

I can'y find ANY pst files. Where might I find it

Thank you

You can also use this registry key so that any new PST that you manually add
to the profile is automatically created at a location that you specify:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook]
"ForcePSTPath"=String:"%userprofile%\My Documents\"

The above path is valid only for Outlook 2003. I'm not certain if it works
in previous versions. If it does, you'd need to use "10.0" instead of
"11.0" for Outlook 2002, and "9.0" for Outlook 2000.

W2K sees pst files as hidden system files. You need to either enable that in
your search (Advanced Search options) or in Windows Explorer go to
Tools-Folder Options-View and select/unselect the recquisite options.
