What is the best way to back-up Word files, Excel files,
etc on you rcomputer? I do not want to create a short-cut
by saving it to a disc. Is there another way to save all
of my information? If this drive breaks down the short
cut won't do me any good. Should I sinstall another drive?

Do you have a CD-Writer? If so, use Windows Explorer to copy all of your
Word and Excel files to a CD. If not, best bet might be an external hard
drive. Got to keep copies!!!

My preferred method is to partition the drive (or add a second hard drive)
and move the My Document folders and all other data folders eg Outlook and
Outlook Express etc to the new partition or drive. You can then use Ghost to
backup the partition/drive to the other partition/drive and then copy the
Ghost files to CDR. See - http://www.gmayor.com/Norton_Ghost.htm
