Backing up favorites-how????

I am getting ready for reformatting my Hard drive and
have backed up/copied all important files and Docs. But I
do not know how to Back up or copy my favorites list so I
can reload it after reformatting? Can anybody help me?
I'll be backing it up on a CD!

Click File in Inteernet Explorer click inport and export click next click
export favourites. Export them to desktop and copy the file to CD. After the
reformat do the same but click import favourites click the files and
import!!!!!!!!!!!

IntermediateXPuser,

Open Internet Explorer and click File menu, choose Import and Export..
Click Next, choose Export Favorites, Select the top-level folder
Type a filename, say C:\Favorites.htm and click Finish
The favorites are now stored as a Netscape type bookmark file named
Favorites.htm.
You can transfer this file to a floppy/CD if you want to backup or transfer
to another system.

Your Favorites folder can be saved most anywhere you have media space. Just
copy it back once the new OS is installed.
