Sam

I'm using Outlook 2002 (Office XP) and I would like to
know how to backup my address book, email inbox, and etc
so then I can restore them later. I'm a little new with
Outlook and have never used so I would appreciate any
help I can get.

Search for a file with the extension pst and back that up.

The backup file (with extension .PST) may be hidden and if that is the case, please do the following.

Open "My Computer"
Click on "Tools" menu
Click on "Folder Option..." menu item
Click on "View" Tab
Under the "Hidden files and folders" select the "Show hidden files and folders"
And, click the "Apply to All Folders" button in the same tab

Also, you can use the Personal Folders Backup feature to archive (backup) your email more easily. You can find more details at the following location.

I am closing this issue as resolved. Please let me know if this does not work for you.
Thanks.
