Backing up and retaining the format

I need to backup my contact data in Outlook 2000 and
install it in another computer that has Outlook XP
version. I will be using a USB disk storage device. Thanks

Unless you're running against Exchange Server, the file you need to back up
is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar,
contacts etc are stored.
