Backing up and restoring Active Directory

Hi,

I am a very new to Windos 2000 and Active directory. Can someone help me by
telling me the easiest way to backup and restore active from a PIII machine
to a new PIV machine.

Andrei is correct but there is another approach
IF you are trying to literally replace the old machine.

Move the drive (or do a disk based backup/restore)

Then do a "REPAIR install" of the OS from the CDROM
on the new machine.

This will likely straighten out any hardware issues and
have the "old machine" running on the new hardware.

Use Andei method though if you are ADDING a new
machine.
