To backup your favourites you need to do the following
1. Click on file
2. Click Import/Export (4th from bottom)
3. Click next
4. Select Export Favourites
5. Click next
6. Select what you want to export. (If you want all your favourites click
top of the tree "favourites")
7. Select location, where you want the favourites exporting to.
(as your moving to another computer I would suggest using A: and putting
them on a floppy disk)
8. Click next
9. Click finish

This will create a file called "bookmark.html" to put the favourites on your
new computer repeat steps 1-3 but then select import and follow the prompts,
making sure you have your floppy disk available.

This works for IE 6.

Don't know about your Outlook Addresses, we really need to know which
version you are using Outlook Express or Outlook 98,2000 etc

Hope this helps

Follow Pauls suggestion for your favorites, for the address book click
Start, Search then click Files and Folders. Enter *.wab and make sure to
click Advanced Search Options and check System and Hidden files and folders.
Save the file and on your new machine bring up OE and click File, Import,
Address Book and point to the saved file. You can also save all you email
folders and messages by doing a search for *.dbx and saving that folder.
Import it the same way as the address book.

I am wanting to do the same thing; however, I am using Outlook XP that
comes with Office XP. Don't have OE as active since I use Netscape Mail.
How do I back up my Outlook Contacts to a CD?

Back up Outlook contacts, etc. by exporting as a .pst file. Then if you
ever need to reinstall, you simply import that .pst file. I believe the
Export/Import function is under the "File" menu, but the location may
vary from version to version. You'll have to look around in yours.
